AI consulting, before anyone writes a proposal
I look at what already exists before proposing anything. The first assessment comes in writing, within two working days, and it is yours, whether or not you go on with me.
What do you get, and in what form?
A written assessment. Two or three pages in plain language, with no jargon: what I understood from what you told me, what looks broken to me, and where I would start.
It arrives by email, it reads without me, and it is yours. It is the plan for what comes next, not something to file. If the conclusion is that you need nothing, I tell you that too, in writing.
What happens first?
You leave an email, one field. No long form, no call to book.
Five questions arrive in writing, with your diagnostic number: what you are, what you want to solve, when, the budget if you want to name one, and what brought you here. You answer in the email or on a page of your own, whenever you want. No clock is running.
Two working days after you answer, the assessment arrives.
How I work
Explore
I start with the material you already have: what you use, what is broken, and what that costs you. You get a written map, dated and signed.
Listen
I talk to whoever uses the system every day. The best clues live with the people doing the work.
Prioritise
By impact and effort. The smallest thing that solves the real problem. I don't build for a problem that isn't there yet.
Hand over
The map is yours. If we go ahead, that is where we start. If we don't, it is yours all the same.
Frequently asked
What does an AI diagnostic cost?
Asking for the diagnostic and getting the written assessment costs nothing. I name the price of anything after that before it starts, and the project budget always comes in writing.
How fast do you answer?
Within two working days of your answers, in writing. If it is going to take longer for some reason, I tell you inside those two days.
What if the diagnostic says I need nothing?
I tell you anyway, in writing, and you keep the assessment. That is a valid result. I would rather give an honest no than run a project that shouldn't exist.
What is the first session?
Ninety minutes of paid work, and the full assessment comes from it: the map of what you have and the work in order. It only comes up after the first assessment, and only if you want to go further. If the project goes ahead, the fee comes off the budget.
It starts with me reading what you have.
You leave an email. The questions come next and the assessment arrives in writing.
