What do you get, and in what form?
The site or product live, and the keys to it: the code in an account of yours, the content in text files kept apart from the code, the domain and the data in your own accounts.
With it comes a short document on how to work it: what you edit to change a line, a colour, a page. That is the part that matters. The day you want someone else working on this, they pick it up and carry on.
What happens first?
The diagnostic. Nothing gets built before you have a written assessment and an order of work.
After that, the first move is to cut it down to the smallest thing that solves the real problem. Scope and timing go in writing before anything starts, and if the timing slips I say why.

Next.js and TypeScript, server-side from the ground up, no third-party templates. Every line has an owner and a reason.

Frequently asked
I already have a site. Do you redo it?
Only when redoing it is worth it. Sometimes fixing what exists is the better call. I say so, even when it costs me the project.
Can I edit the site myself afterwards?
Yes. Content sits apart from the code and day-to-day edits need no programming. I teach it at handover, using your own project's material.
Who writes the copy?
I do, with your material and your voice. Anything that doesn't exist as real content is marked as missing. I never fill it in with something that looks real.
Will the site be ready for Google and for AI?
Yes. It renders on the server from day one, so the content is in the HTML and not behind JavaScript. LLM crawlers don't run JavaScript. What isn't in the HTML doesn't exist for them.
